Induction
We tailor our induction for children joining us mid-year to meet the individual needs of your child. Some children need more support in the transition to a new school environment than others. Some children have additional needs that might require specialist support. Please call the school office on 01793 812340 if you are thinking of transferring your child to Wroughton Infants so we can discuss what is best for your child.
In the Summer of each academic year we have an induction meeting for the parents starting with us in Reception from September. At this meeting we will talk you through everything you need to know so that your child's transition to school is as smooth as possible.
Our Reception Teachers will also meet with you individually as parents so we can make sure we get to your child and their individual interests, likes and dislikes. This helps us to make the learning match the needs of your child. It also helps us to link the learning to their interests and hobbies.
